He graduated in 2025 from the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with an MSc in Regenerative Medicine. During her master’s studies, she focused on the ageing and rejuvenation of muscle stem cells. She previously obtained her BSc in Biomedical Engineering (specialising in Regenerative Medicine) from Jilin University. She joined the Armstrong Group in October 2025 as a PhD student through the China Scholarship Council – University of Bristol (CSC-UoB) scheme. Her doctoral research project is focussed on using chemical and mechanical cues to engineer the reactivity of astrocytes in 3D brain models.
